
The centrepiece pavilion building of the new public plaza next to the Emily Carr University of Art & Design campus and the South Flatz office building has won a design award. Last month, the Chicago-based Metal Construction Association (MCA) awarded the Great Northern Way Pavilion the award for “Overall Excellence and Commercial/Industrial.” MCA’s annual Chairman’s Awards recognizes the most outstanding metal construction projects in North America.
